Very nice, clear presentation and writing. In South Asia the method is different 3-5 whole cloves are chewed and taken with water first thing in the morning. This is a direct line defense to clearing mucous and inflammation from the gut lining. Cleans the pipes first thing...

cloves are also traditionally used in digestion and respiratory issues... and scientifically, known to be antiparasitical, and antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, regulate blood sugar, liver booster, and probably anticancer.

I'm on the clove wagon too and they are also great in the feed room of the coop to keep mice away! I scatter cloves all around the room, started in April, and to date, NO mice! I'm so exctied! Love cloves in all the ways!

Cloves are so underrated and have so many benefits. Since I started using clove toothpaste I have had no issues with my teeth whatsoever. Love that you are highlighting this ♡

What!?! That's just the push I needed. Clove tea tonight. I usually add ginger & lemon. Will add honey this time. Thanks for that boost. Must appreciated.

I make spiced tea which contains a cup of spice water. For the spice water: Into 1 cup water place 1 cinnamon stick, 1 teaspoon whole cloves, 1 teaspoon whole allspice; simmer 5 minutes. Strain and discard spices.

The rest is 3 quarts freshly brewed tea (Use about 10 tea bags in the water), 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1 1/2 cups orange juice, 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice and the cup of spice water.

Great hot or cold.

It sounds delicious. Does the allspice dissolve well?

Oh I’m so sorry! The spice water has to be strained before adding to the tea so no, the spices don’t dissolve. Thanks for asking and I fixed the recipe. I have this in my refrigerator right now and it’s probably more healthy than I knew!

Many Middle Eastern dishes have cloves in the sauces. I bet this is why.

I heard its good to start small when introducing clove water into our system. Having 1-2 , then 4-5 over some time will be much easier for the body to use as it is so powerful.

Yes it's true and it is Ayurvedic.

Clove kindles digestion, reduces bloating, and supports oral health by naturally balancing Agni.

I definitely need this! Will be making it tonight! Thank you
